'Stargate SG-ane'
The Stargate franchise is one of the most significant cultural phenomena of our time. Similar Star Trek and Star Wars , it was both of its time and ahead of it. Based on the 1994 motion picture Stargate , MGM's Stargate SG-1 predominantly follows four characters: Daniel Jackson (Michael Shanks), Jack O'Neill (Richard Dean Anderson), Samantha "Sam" Carter (Amanda Tapping), and Teal'c (Christopher Gauge). The team explores new planets and procures alien allies and technology using a bridge portal device known as the Stargate, which is located in a secret base of operations under Cheyenne Mountain. They too defend Globe from hostile forces like the parasitic Goa'uld, mechanical Replicators, and ascended Ori.
A perfect blend of action and comedy that is rich in mythology, the x-flavor episodic series spawned two films, Stargate: The Ark of Truth and Stargate: Continuum , and ii Idiot box series, Stargate Atlantis and Stargate Universe . Then, open the iris, dial the chevrons, and step through the wormhole because Stargate SG-1 is a must-see for whatever sci-fi lover!
